The Ultra Puck Wiper System is designed for the Velodyne LiDAR Ultra Puck sensor. The wiper station can clean this sensor, which operates in harsh conditions, in a very short time using two water nozzles.
The sensor can be cleaned 360 degrees with two wipers without obstructing the sensor’s field of view in its 360° range. Additionally, an air shield is created for the sensor using four air nozzles
LiDAR Wiper Station for Large Puck Sensors
TS-WP-01 is a wiper and cleaning station that keeps large puck-type LiDAR sensors clear of dust, mud and water in harsh field conditions. Two wipers clean the sensor 360° without obstructing its field of view, two water nozzles wash the window, and four air nozzles create an air shield around the sensor. A full cleaning cycle takes only 3 seconds.
